One of the primary goals of your program is to reduce and eliminate the level of toxic metal exposure. Not all of the body's toxic metal readings will appear on the first test because heavy metals are often sequestered deep within the body. Metals may mobilize from fatty tissue, spleen, liver, kidneys, bones, nervous system and brain. Element deposits are stored in the hair for many months, whereas blood serum is always changing. Often mineral levels are lower in the blood, making detection more difficult. Hair analysis is one of few ways to detect toxic metals. Toxic metals are not found in high concentrations in the blood, except after acute exposure.
